On Aug. 26, Deborah Prentice, provost, Sanjeev Kulkarni, dean of the faculty, and Pablo Debenedetti, dean for research, sent a message to department charis and directors about fall resumption of in-person, on-campus operations. The message reads as follows:

Dear Colleagues,

On Aug. 27, Princeton University Library announced extended hours for Fall 2020. Read the full announcement on the PUL phased resumption of operations webpage. Beginning Aug. 31, all library locations will be open for study and browsing by appointment from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On Aug. 26, University Health Services (UHS) updated its fact sheets on isolation and quarantine for employees, and undergraduate and graduate students, both on and off campus. You can access them on the University Health Services website.

In response to the needs of an increased number of students and faculty researching, teaching, and learning remotely this fall, we are pleased to announce the resumption of the HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service (ETAS) effective August 31.

Please read these important details about the asymptomatic COVID-19 testing protocol for students, faculty, researchers and staff who are physically on campus for at least 8 hours per week. Approved participants will be contacted directly by University Health Services. Asymptomatic testing will begin the week of Aug. 24.
